Reportable Diseases

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services publishes a list of diseases that must be reported to local and state health officials. The Missouri State Regulation regarding the reporting of Communicable Diseases sets forth the rules of reporting and who is required to report.

Who needs to report?

Hospitals, physicians, nurses, clinics or other private or public institution providing diagnostic testing, screening, or care are required to report knowledge or suspicion of these diseases within a certain timeframe. 

How do I report?
